not mine but do you wanna know what sucks...i ‘lost’ a pair of slippers in my living room a couple of
weeks ago, along with a chalkbag that wasn’t mine...apparently according to my mrs...‘climbing gear in a
shopping bag looks exactly the same as rubbish’....and now i’m climbing in a pair of 10 year old
gumboots on their third resole...

The shoes probably were left at the base of The Generator (22) because the queue for the route was so long! You can't stand around in your climbing boots all day in a queue. When the rain came they were probably just left behind in the 3 minute rush to get down to the cars.
We pointed this out as potential problem to Rob Booth when he bolted this sport route. Having to queue for the crag's classic warmup route is the pits. Hindsight is always useful, but jumping straight onto the stunning routes of Liam*** (23), Cat Power*** (24) and Curiosity** (25) might've been a better approach.
Cat Power and Liam have both had another two FHs added to them to make the route finding through the grey bulge easier, and now they are both sport routes. Perhaps the queue will move away from The Generator now!
Cheers
Michael

ps Ross, were they claimed or did you just upgrade your tired pair of Scarpa Forces?

We've now added a ticket machine at the bottom of the Generator/ Extension lead routes to stop the fighting!

Steve and I are going to move that ticket machine over to the base of Liam this w/end. It is more necessary there now that Cat Power and Curiosity are sport routes.
Well ...... they are much longer, more sustained and better climbing!

Yep, ...... ticket machine is now located beneath Careful With That Axe, Liam. It's the spot. The only problem will be replacing the tickets on a regular basis.
