I have a Casio Protrek (PRG-80L). Solar powered, altitude, thermo and baro calibratable. Loud alarm! Inbuilt (not exceptionally accurate) compass. Flaws. Trying to adjust the altitude/ baro/ thermo is impossible with gloves. The button is flush to obviously stop accidental bumps changing things but you need a pocket knife or similar to get the button to register. Also, baro drops as you climb but no biggy, as was said just watch for changes when you are on belay/sitting for lunch and put on altitude when you set off again. Altitude is calibrated at a known point regularly to account for errors in watch. Had for 18 months and other than the button issue, simple to use, tough as sh!%
