Just a quick post about my beloved new La Sportiva Miuras.

After trading in the trusty (and roomy) Boreal Aces (or consigning them to multipitch and cracks at Frog) I bought me some Miuras a couple of sizes smaller. I love 'em to death: precise, great on edges and pockets, excellent rubber, they sh!t on my old Aces, - but man, they absolutely kill.

After stretching over three weeks of constant use, they're perfect everywhere (in a sportclimbing sort of way) except the second toe, which is forced into some sort of f&^ked-up tear inducing yoga position. Everywhere else is perfect - downturned and bent, the way these technical shoes are, nice powerful big toe but not too uncomfortable - but the second toe is purest agony. It's actually more comfortable on a tiny edge with the weight just on the inside of the big toe.

My second toe is about the same length as the big toe, not sure is this is a factor. I don't want to stretch them, cos they fit so well elsewhere. Has anyone else had this problem with Miuras, and do you know how to fix it?
