I have a few of the new Ultralights. BD added more rigid plastic to the casing surrounding the dyneema stem, such that the UL C4's are equally rigid as the normal C4s. (If anything, my new ULs are slightly stiffer.) I can see why BD needed to add rigidity- otherwise the cam would flop around like a wet noodle and be impossible to place. The stems are also just as long as the normal C4s. All-in-all, the UL C4s have similar rigidity and resistance to walking as normal C4s.
