Ive just redone my swift water rescue and the "ROPE GURU" reckons that they tested a previously new static rope with a 3 ton rating after it had been used for a couple of weeks rigging on a stage show and that it broke when tested at around the 250 kg mark. Is this guy full of shit or is this possible. Maybe B.P or Mousey has the answer as thats sort of their line of work?
