I have read your comments a number of times, and (whether you intended to or not) it sounds like you think that people with disabilities have no insight into their actions/existence. Most things people learn become automatic - eventually. The more you climb, the easier certain moves get – and you can do them without consciously thinking about them. But anyway… To answer your question: when you look for a tent – look for one that’s waterproof not water resistant. Also, most will tell you how waterproof they are – e.g. 40mm of rain. Get one that’s got a fly and an inner – they’re generally more waterproof and get less condensation.
