a 10.2 is the biggest you should buy for cragging. they get bigger prettty much from the first day you use them.
dry treatment helps the rope last longer whether it get wet or not.
i personally dont recommend Mammut for durability although they handle well. for long-life go with Edelrid or New England Blue water.
note for big people climbing-dont lower someone quickly or with jerks at the end-your rope will go soft in a month! saving 10 seconds on a lower isnt worth buying another rope. |
