G: yeah, you were right about how I wanted to use the the slings. If the tree sling was set up in the direction of the load, there wouldn't be too much friction... would there? When extending 'biners I would use a sling with an extra biner. The existing bent gate biner from the short runner clips into the long sling, and the third biner clips the rope. That's safe, isn't it? Joemor: Nah, I missed the film! Gutted. Completely lost track of time and came back too late. Apparently it was so popular there were extra screenings though. Hopefully it gets a another go some time soon (hint!). The whole festival was awesome though, shows there's a lot more to Nati than meets the eye. Cheers Kyle
