re snow stakes not a bad setup Josh. I seem to be able to get them out of the pack easy enough but once I take them out of the snow and want to restow them I either have to take my pack off which gets to be a pain or clip them to my harness which turns me into a wind chime. The only alternative I've seen is to shove them horizontally between your pack and your waist above your belt which I find uncomfortable. Probably going to retire and buy a surfboard anyway. :)
