A couple of hours ago I walked past a new Patagonia store being fitted out (and with recruitment notices in the window, too) here in Melbourne. Sad to say it's in Chapel St., thus earning the derisive 'Patagucci' tag and ensuring the vast majority of customers choose form over function. Next up, an Arcteryx store in Camberwell Junction, followed by a 5.10 outlet in Brighton. I miss the 1990's.
