well the care instructions change but essentially wash as you would for jeans, ie often! I know pretty every one doesn't do this and then goes oh it breathes less now. Duh!
So yes, wash with pure soap or use normal detergent but make sure you rinse at least twice and check it's clear of all crap before using the TX spray when damp and follow instructions. Pretty easy. Whatever you do don't wash it Indian style by beating the jacket on a rock cos you'll probably kill it! But otherwise I don't see a problem with washing by hand personally. |
