Just return it, doesn't matter that you used it.
Unless the manufacturer can confirm that it is a normal part of manufacture, it is a defect.
You paid for a product, get the product you were promised.
Unless the manufacturer is willing to put in writing that the defect? will not threaten it's strength, function or longevity in any way, it is no good for anybody.
First point of call, where you bought it.
Any retailer that says to you that it has no consequence is putting their own head on the line if anything happens.
They will not do that unless they are really stupid. |
