Miguel I'm hearin ya on the gear lust. My rack is still pretty small but even the sound of it when I'm carying it around or racking up gets the juices flowing. I went out to Ben Carin the other day just to get out and set some anchors and practice different belay set ups and so on. My favourite new bit of gear is a 4m dyneema cordelette. It's real smooth and easy to handle and re-rack compared to cord cordelette. Placing gear is awesome when you go from just a couple of cracks in rock to a solid system that you can hang off, swing off and of course belay off. Sweet. I havent' done a multipitch climb yet but might get my first in over at NZ week after next. Bring on the belay anchors.
