Just thought i would post in this to bring it up the front as some people are interested in woodies at the moment. As for painting your woody. I would just leave the pannels blank where the holds go because i have found that your holds tend to stick to the paint and it can be a bugger to get them off! Also if you texture the paint with sand ect you will just put wear on your shoes hands ect, Leave that to the real rock. If out doors hit the back with a bit of solar guard. Paint the t-nuts to but not the bolt ends that stick up as this can clog the t-nut and make it hard to remove holds! I solved drainage and landing zone problems with a thick layer of pebbles so that the water flows away under your mat. (got laserlite on mine to)
