i started off with a pair of Boreal Aces....and found them excellent...a good solid comfortable shoe that allowed me to develop my technique and footwork, as well as gaining strength in my feet.....
had these for a few years them progressed to the Boreal Vectors...again a fair degree of comfort but without the solid plate in the sole...which allows for a better feel of the rock and smearing..
and finally after several years with minimal climbing....and looking at how much i actually get out on rock...i've gone for comfort....trying the la sportiva mythos xtc
and find them excellent...comfortable..love the lacing...allows you to get a good tight fit and the sole is neither to soft or hard..
