DavidN, Three tales I've recently had a little procedure performed on a ganglion on my index finger which involved drainage of the cyst followed by some cortisone. The result being very positive. I have a mate who is an arborist and he has had a couple of hydro-dilations (with cortisone) of his shoulders and he is now pain free. Finally, I also had a couple of deep cortisone injections in my leg/groin for bursitis of my psoas Ileum...very unpleasant and didn't work
