"Their biggest mistake was picking Rosea to get their first big-cliff experience." Their biggest mistake was not taking climbing seriously, and doing their sums before they leaped into something they were not prepared for. I wonder if in days past, when rescue was not so easily available, if they would have thought twice about heading off into the unknown. I'm sorry, it is hard to take this rescue seriously when they didn't take climbing seriously themselves. It is now far easier to find information, to access the necessary skills and develop your climbing. What is it? Now that climbing is the new cool, it's all just a another thing to head off and do, without thought for consequences?
