While it's possible that these products may help, personally, I"m a little skeptical. They have a hefty price-tag ($58) and may also simply result in what some of my medical colleagues refer to commonly as expensive pee.

One reason for my skeptisism is that the "renowned expert" they quote doesn't appear to have published much in the medical literature, at least not in publications cited by MedLine or Science Direct - two of the major citation databases for medical research. (and yes, both indexes do include foreign language publicacations)

Their ingredient list however does inlcude some substances that are referred to in the literature so, if you have a naturopath, it may be worth asking them for advice. It should also be remembered that just because something is a "Natural Medicine" doesn't mean that it's inert or harmless. Eg. some of the most powerful cardiac drugs are based on plants and despite that happen to be extremely toxic, requiring regular monitoring of blood levels. Any substance one ingests, including over-the-counter pain medications, can cause harm if used incorrectly (and sometimes if used correctly too) and should be taken with due caution. Another reason for caution - in this instance - is that these preparations appear to be coming from overseas and, based on their website, I can't tell whether they've met the safety requirements laid down by the governments here for sale in Australia (I suspect not but am happy to be corrected).

If there's a pharmacist or naturopath on chocky maybe they could comment?

To get back on topic however - the general principle with injuries is to work out what the problem is and then treat. ie. buying remedies over the internet that assist in bone/joint healing when the problem arises (primarily) from soft-tissue won't help (much), placebo effect aside.

Bottom line: if you've got shoulder problems - ie pain and/or restricted movement, then at very least, go see someone about it who will assess it properly for you.
