Hi Wendy,

Looks like you've got some good leads there to follow up.

If you're still after suggestions, the only other thing I could suggest is that maybe call Amir Takla or Phillip Boland at St Kilda Road Sports and Physiotherapy Centre (Melb). Amir is a physio who does the hip rehabs for Mr O'Donnell (one of the surgeons who pioneered that sort of hip surgery here in Melbourne). Philip is the soft-tissue person who works closely with Amir.

Both specialise in rehab protocols for arthroscopic hip surgery - ie like the acetabular resurfacing you referred to - and therefore would probably be well placed to give you a few names for people they'd recommend in Adelaide. A lot of Mr O'Donnell's patients are professional sports people so travel extensively and I'm sure there'd have to be at least one or two people in Adelaide who would have the expertise you're after.
