just meant that if the 'hotels' and the climbing at Railay were not so close then many of the people who did not go there for the climbing would not end up climbing and having accidents. I'm sure there are lots who go there with little experience, see some cool climbing going on and a day later find themselves leading up some bolts with someone they don't know.
In the darkness before climbing......? I don't recall that I had a life before climbing. :) Suspect I spent most of the day in the sandpit with tonka trucks.
Figured the bowline thing out.
