A rock climber has died after plunging 100 metres in the Blue Mountains National Park,
west of Sydney.

Emergency crews responded to reports of a fallen climber about 11:40am on Friday
along Pierces Pass near the Bells Line Of Road, Two road crews, Special Casualty
Access Team (SCAT) paramedics, an Ambulance Rescue Helicopter, along with police
rescue officers and Polair searched for the climber. The climber was found dead shortly
before 4.30pm. A second climber, a man, was located during the search and was being
walked out with a minor arm injury.
