The Wimmera Mail-Times website doesn't add much except the full story will be in tomorrow's paper: http://wimmera.yourguide.com.au/news/local/news/news-features/breaking-news/1259607.aspx

FFFaaarrrkkkkK....I could be wrong, but I'm 80% sure that Blair is one of the two long stay guys at araps at the moment. He was planning to stay at Araps until arounds November. He's been doing a LOT of soloing recently, mostly easy stuff....he's a good bloke, hope he recovers quickly.

I think the fall was off Cruel Consistency. Don't think he was soloing. Local news reports today were citing back and ankle injuries. Hope the injuries aren't too serious.

Has more to add to the story.

It is NZ Blair, He's at the Alfred on 2 East. Visited him last night and he has stable fractures to his vertebrae (not sure which or how many) and he needs surgery on his L) ankle. So he's allowed to walk about using crutches but I'm sure boredom will have set in by now. He only just got up to the ward yesterday afternoon. He hasn't been given an estimated length of stay but I'm sure he'll be there still next week.

If your around that area drop in and see him he'd be happy to have someone to chat and pass the time with, just call before heading in cause he's having hyperbaric therapy ? for an hour each day I think,

Cheers guys,
Kerryn

Hey ado, yeah it's on commercial rd prahran.
Visiting hours 10am to 8pm.
A book would be a great idea. The only reason I didn't take one yesterday was cause I wasn't sure how much they'd let him move. A book would be a pretty shit idea if he couldn't turn the pages! hehe
Thanks ado.
