So where is this '200 to 300 metre' potential sea-cliff to climb?
Area is called Crackneck - and the guy died AFTER packing away his 'chute (yet reportage continues to say 13 SES volunteers were assisting - go figure...)

The related link (to the link provided), says;
>The paraglider, from Wamberal, took off from Crackneck Lookout near Bateau Bay, north of Sydney, about 4pm yesterday and landed at the base of the Forresters Beach cliff.
It appears (from media reports), the assisting SES persons were involved in the search after the man failed to return when expected, though was last seen by another paraglider person after they had landed.
I don't recall any 300 metre sea cliffs on the central coast. Hill-tops maybe, but the sea cliffs would be lucky to be 300 feet ! (Imperial measure). Forresters is better known for its good surf than its climbing potential.

there's no way that's 300m, maybe 30
and most of it is crumbly beach stuff up that way
|
