And Helen Clark was in a spot of bother herself. Terrible as these two stories are, it is great to to see the NZ Prime Minister out there, unlike a former PM of ours who satisfied himself power-walking alongside Sydney Harbour...
I knew Ms Clark was a long-time member of the NZAC, but she is fairly accomplished in the mountains of the world, it would seem. Additionally interesting to read that her deceased friend ran his own guiding company and was a nuclear physicist, according to an earlier SMH report. Very motivated people. |
