I was with the climber when he had the accident. He is currently in Royal Melbourne Hospital concious and in a stable condition with some broken vertabrae (no spinal cord damage), broken ribs, head and facial lacerations and minus two teeth. He is expected to make a full recovery and has his family and friends for support. He is an experienced climber and has done a lot of soloing. He was on Exodus and fell about 10m. Neither myself nor my climbing partner actuall saw the moment he fell, but we did see him hit the ground. He does not remember falling and we don't want to speculate too much, possibly broken rock, but we'll never know.
