I think you will find that this was cdelacy's little joke.

I said that exertion before, during or after the dive is considered to predispose to DCS. cdelacy basically replied: "Sure, that is why there are are numerous accounts of people succumbing to DCS (and fataly) after taking an evening run or some other activity after a day of diving - NOT."

That is why I then suggested that he review the meaning of "predisposing factor" !
