Seems to be an epidemic of this at the moment... last night at the climbing gym I think I came as close as I ever want to to dislocating my shoulder - pulling on a move in pretty much the same position that Trent describes. Was going for a deadpoint, and when most of my weight went onto that arm (the left) it locked up and I felt a strong pain in the back of the joint. Luckily it didn't go all the way out and I jumped straight off, but I felt a definite clunk when I moved it. Not fun at all.
I decided to get onto something somewhat less strenuous and more technical, and about 5 minutes later I came off and rolled my right ankle, where the tendons are still a bit sore from a skiing accident about a month and a half ago. After that I decided to call it a night...
