Sand the callouses down before you get a chance to rip them off. You should moisturise your skin and not keep it dry. The aim is tough but flexible skin, rather then hard dry skin which is much more likely to catch and tear.
Toughen the skin with Hoofmaker or similar and use a moisturiser like Palmers Cocoa Butter. |
