Over the last few weeks I have managed three seperate skin tears(flappers) the most recent on the palm of my hand under the callous at the bottom of my middle finger. I havnt had any such problem before. Its almost like there is moisture under the callouses or something. I realise climbing indoors you are more prone to this and all these injuries are from climbing on plastic but does anyone have any similar issues and what is the solution. I do try to keep my hands dry and dont use moisturisers on them.
