AIR2SPARE climb MT BOYCE- take 2 ropes!! 26-May-2006 At 2:42:28 PM madtaffy

I had an argument at the top of this climb with StumpyEd who brought a mate with no climimg experience, no shoes, no belay device, no abseiling device, no abseiling experience and a 40m rope! When I told him to get f***ked because I didn't want to guide his buddy and didn't want to spend all day on this climb he got the shits and walked off! It was a long walk as he had no car! He's still sobbing in his steroid bowl.
Me and Noora did the climb on our 60 rapping in to a single bolt about 5m above the belay. We had gear so there is a cam and sling placement at that point to make a bomber belay. Lower the leader to the start of the climb if you want the full experience. So it can be done without 2 ropes or setting up a fixed line.
It's not that good a climb. Baby Carrots is much better.
Common sense and a good sense of humour are always good things to take climbing!
If you don't have these you are probably like the bloke suing Werribee Council cos he fell off a cliff. Maybe you could have sued the Blueys council if you rapped off your rope, or our Creator for not making the cliff 25.00 metres or the website you got your beta off, or the climber who put the route up or your parents for giving birth to you....only joking....remember the sense of humour thing!!!!! and common sense!
