I remember about 50 years ago walking below Dogface with a group of climbers from RMIT and we found several bolts amongst the boulders below the face. We thought that they had either been dropped or more likely had fallen out under their own weight! If the Echo Point Bolt Ladder hadn't been chopped I wonder what its bolts would be like now!!!

+1
Zac says at the end that it’s like climbing in a sandpit.
An understatement for sure, given the overhanging nature of the terrain it covers.

I very much enjoyed the video.
Thanks for posting the link dalai.

That was fun ...
Interesting to see how a lot of the belay bolts have rusted down to nothing. Somewhere I still have one from the belay at the top of the first pitch, that I winkled out by hand. I tried aiding it with Tom Williams back in 1979 or 1980 (hopefully I've got that name right). We got 1.5 pitches up before bailing in the late afternoon. Pretty much inconceivable climbing it free - very impressive.
Nice video too.

There was an ABC show (Chequerboard?) that featured Ewbank and somebody else doing a route on Dogface. They bivvied on the route and had someone lower them hamburgers for their evening meal! Anyone else remember the show? I know it requires somebody of considerable age to answer that question, but when you reach a considerable age your memory starts to misremember things.

Good call ... According to the old Dogface guide: 'With Colossus came another first. The two day climb was televised by the ABC and later the pair (Ewbank and Giles) found themselves the stars of a feature on hazardous pastimes'.
The fall about a third of the way in on the video is off Colossus, not Gigantor.
