Hi,
I will go in OZ in november 2009 for 12 months and I prepare my trip according to places where i can climb (bouldering). In France, my level is 6a/b on artificial wall.
Do you have websites or map of places in Australia where i can go?
If someone is ready to show me places and climb with it will be great. ;)
Thank you for your help.

Here's a link with areas and topos for some of the south-east: http://www.australianbouldering.com/guides.html . Unfortunately the topo for Andersens in the Grampians seems to be broken, does anyone know somewhere else to find an Andersens topo?

Thanks StuE, I've seen that map before but whenever I try to open the link to the large PDF version of it, it doesn't work properly. It looks like its worked but when I try to scroll the page, it disappears. Does this happen to anyone else?

Have you tried copying the link and pasting it to your browser? Seems to work better for me rather than just clicking on it.

They page has the capitalisation of the link incorrect. Try:

Yeah, tried both. So you're able to open the PDF and scroll around the whole map without a problem? Must be my computer, strange it hasn't done it with anything else.
Anyway, sorry to hijack the thread. I will most likely be around Victoria in November and would be up for some climbing in the Grampians and Arapiles.

My version of Acrobat (9.1.2) complains about invalid fonts in that PDF, says it is invalid, might not display and print correct and then asks the creator to fix them.
It does seem to display it fine though.

No probs. I tried to contact the maintainer but the email address provided bounced. I've sent another email to the domain owner to see if they know who maintains the site, we'll see how far that gets me.

I think we lost Will the Frog with the Melton link.
I'd say he's now heading to Castle Hill instead .
