Hi!

I'am looking for a climbing parter for next week at the blue Mountains. am Dutch and arrived this week (in Sydney) for holyday and practice climbing since some years. I never climb in Australia so I don't know how tough is it. Due to the weight limitation in the plane I just brought my harness and climbing shoes.

Looking forward to hearing from you,

Cheers

Chris

Hello!

I am coming to Sydney from Edinburgh, arriving on the 11th June and am also trying to find climbing partners! I am bringing my single rope and a rack with me so we could team up if you'd like? We'd just need to go to an indoor climbing wall and ask around, see if there is easy transport etc which I am sure there will be.

My email address is s0568930@sms.ed.ac.uk and I will be getting a SIM card when I arrive. You could email me your phone number or just if you would like to meet up.

I have only climbed in the UK, mostly Scottish and Welsh mountains and Northumberland.

Hi There to both of you - I live and climb in sydney and am in the St peters Climbing gym a couple of times a week. Always trying to get out on the rock on weekends- Mostly Sports routes up to a maximum of about grade 21 ( but getting better every day)

Check out the Gym at http://www.indoorclimbing.com.au

I am talking to some friends about possible an overnight trip next weekend ( 13th to 14th) or maybe just a big one dayer from Sydney starting early.

PM me if you want to meet up and climb the gym or are interested in trips out side of sydney on the weekend.

Cheers

Hi folks,

There's an efficient train line from Sydney to the mountains which will drop you within 20 - 30 mins of heaps of crags. However the weather is desperately cold up here at the moment (snow forecast) so Scottish mountain experience may be an advantage. I maybe free on Wednesday 17th and would be happy to show folks around.
