Where abouts are you Chloe? In the absence of this information the best advice is probably to find out which is the best of your local university clubs and join them.

Chloe,

It may be worth checking out the VCC calendar to see if they have any beginner's trips coming up soon. Otherwise, turn up to Araps on the Easter weekend - there'll be plenty of people around who I'm sure you could talk into taking you out climbing.
