Haven't climbed in a few years but keen to get back into it, used to climb a lot (boulder, trad, sport) but haven't since moving to Melbourne. Keen to get back into a couple of gym (City/Nunawadding/Abbotsford) sessions a week if anyone is keen? daytime / afternoon preferably or early evenings if thats no good.
Anyway drop me an email if you're keen

Not much of a gym-goer, but would definitely be interested if you wanted to get back in to the outdoor scene. Currently living in Sunbury and looking for local climbers.

Haven't climbed in close to 3 years so was keen to build a little strength and get my mojo back before heading outdoors ...
Where abouts in the UK ya from? I climbed a fair bit when I lived over there ... Southern Sandstone, N Wales, Peak, Chepstow, Avon ... Good times

Originally from the peak, about half an hour from stanage. Climbed mostly around the north of england, or snowdonia, but never as regularly as I'd like.
Give me a yell when you feel like cragging again.

Hi Rich,
Do you have your own gear and rack for outdoor cragging?
Cheers

Sounds good to me, how do ya find the climbing here compared to back home? I haven't really climbed much here, most of my climbing has been in Canada, Europe and the UK

It's been pretty good so far actually. Made a couple of trips to the Gramps and Cataract Gorge in Launceston - definitely recommend a local point of contact down there called Bob McMahon (he's pretty well known in these parts for putting up 100s of Tassie routes).
I've found the rock here very positive and plenty of cracks for jamming - much to the disgust of my European mates who come visit looking for limestone and 1 finger pockets...
Overall, no complaints but just need to get out more regularly. How about you?

I'm always up for an outdoor climb. Not too keen on long weekend trips. Daytrips are much preferable.
Got all my own gear except for a rack, also have a car too.

I'll thow my hat in the ring if any of you guys are short for a climbing partner on weekends. Have transport and plenty of gear. Based in the westurn suburbs and happy to head out for a leisurely climb anywhere this side of town...preferably outdoor (gramps, araps, camels or weribee).
Just PM me in advance.

hey dr,
Yeah I have a full rack. I have some plans for this Saturday but I'm pretty keen to get out Easter weekend for a few day trips or a weekend up at the Gramps or Araps.
Let's have a chat next week and see if we can tee up a time to get out for a climb.
see ya mate.

Hey Doug,
If you're still looking for a partner I'm in... Sounds like we're on the same wavelength too. I haven't climbed for about 6 months, just moved back to Australia not long ago and struggling to find someone to climb with.
Been climbing in France leading 6c's most recently.
Give me a buzz if you or anyone reading this are keen.
