G'day all,

Just arrived back in Australia after 3 years of climbing and skiing in Canada (Whistler & Squamish
mainly, but have also climbed at the Bugaboos, Smiths Rocks, Skaha and many others). I have
climbed in Arapiles, Grampians, Cathedrals and Werribee gorge as well. I climb rock both trad and
sport, ice and ski & general mountaineering (also climbed in NZ & the UK). Not sure what my grades
are ... lol, been using the yosemite decimal system a little too long (trad 5.10a, sport 5.11a (17 i think
is 10a). Not into ticking hard grades more about being out there climbing lots and enjoying it. Live in
SE Melbourne, dont have car as yet and have the next two weeks off (OE teacher). Anyone interested
in climbing (will do gym, although not a big fan) let me know.

Where are you located? If Melbourne, I am going to Araps/Gramps this weekend with a couple of others, and have car. Give me a call on 0403 324 366 if interested. We climb similar grades, and you'd nicely make up the fourth at late notice.

hey James, im from the uk, where did you climb? I have climbed quite a few places there! :) im in Melbourne for the next 3 months at least and am looking for people to climb with as i dont know any climbers here. My top-roping grade was about 5.10/ 5.11 (i think, ..im just converting it on the rockfax table) but i drop a bit when i trad or sports lead (which i love!). Im keen to do outside stuff in aus but i dont have a car either or any of my rack as i am travelling, though brought my harness and very warn shoes.
