Hi,
I am Canberra/Adelaide climber (15 years experience) who wants to train (outdoors) for an expedition this summer to the Fitzroy massif.
I am a little rusty at the moment. I am (just) able to climb up to 20 on trad. My goals are to feel comfortable on 24-25 (again!) and get lots of mileage on the rocks. I would love to try for 20-30 pitches in a day (perhaps at araps).
I have previously climbed in the Andes, NZ alps, Bugaboos, Squamish, Yosamite, Indian Creek. My preferred style is fast and light alpine rock routes (free routes and clean aid only).
I am keen to climb with anyone who is motivated and climbs around grade 18-25 and is free to climb during the next6-8 weeks in Victoria or the blueys (or even tassie).
I will be heading to Argentina (Bariloche first, then Chalten) in early December.
Previous trips to Argentina have convinced me that I will have no trouble finding climbing partners in the country, however, if anyone is psyched to join me for some adventures in Patagonia I would like to hear from you.
