I'm heading off on a trip to Nepal in late March, early April and am looking for a few other interested climbers. A little bit about the crew already heading over. We both live and work in NZ.

Have been to nepal and india climbing successfully over the last few years. Working in NZ as a Mtn Guide. Planning on trips to Central asia regualary. Had a bit of fun last year in India on Meru peak.

would be first trip to Nepal. Works as a Polytech climbing instructor, experience in both european and nz alps.

Dates

We'll be trying to leave Kathmandu on the 3rd of april 2007

* Not guided
o 3 Peaks - easiest to technically hardest

* Full trekking service from Kathmandu return.
* No service above basecamp.
* Mountain food not provided on cholatse
* Basecamp / trekking tents provided.
* Mountain tent required.

Costs

* Trekking cost determined by how many people on trek
o $2280 - 2580 USD / person
* Peak fees to be divided by numbers on climbing team
o Pachermo $350 USD
o Nerikha $500 USD
o Cholatse $500 USD
o Total $1350
+ We can have up to 7 climbers on each permit. At present we have 2

Rough Itinerary

Day 1: Arrive Kathmandu – Meet with Treking Agent
Day 2: Kathmandu, preparation for trek.
Day 3: Drive Kathamndu to Charikot.
Days 4-12: Upper Rolwaling Valley Trek.
Day 13-14: Tsho Rolpa and Tesi Lapcha pass.
Day 15-16: Parchamo peak climb.
Day 17-18: Cross Tesi Lapcha pass.
Day 19: Yak Kharka
Day 20: Renjo la Base cap
Day 21: Trek to Gokyo cross renjo la (You don't need to come Namche)
Day 22: Day rest at Gokyo
Day 23: Gokyo to Nirekha Base Camp
Day 24: Rest Nirekha Base camp
Day 25: Nirekha Base Camp to High Camp with equipment return to BC
Day 26: Base camp to high camp
Day 27: High camp to summit and return to base camp
Day 28: Rest day at base camp
Day 29: Descend to Ganglha (Tsom Teng)
Day 30 - 32: 3 days rest (including time to organize other equipments and or repaired)
Day 33 Ganglha to Choltase Base Camp
Day 34 to 43: Climbing period of 10 days
Day 44: Clear Base Camp - Phortse
Day 45: Namche
Day 46: Lukla
Day 47: Fly back to Kathmandu.

I'd like to stress that this is a non guided trip. Climbers would be expected to pull their own weight as part of a team. It would also be possible for either Pachermo or Cholatse to be missed out depending on time / cash restraints.
