|I’m training once a week with my regular partner, and am keen to do twice a week, which he can't do. Have had good luck in getting various casual partners through FB on the day, but would really like to train regularly with someone I can get to know & trust, push and support each other etc. So I’m looking for someone who would like to train at least one night a week at St Peters, Mon-Thurs nights, preferably one regular night most weeks. You’d be welcome to join my partner & I on a second night a week if you’d like, and we go trad climbing once a month or so if you are keen to join us for that.
Me – middle aged but fighting it – experienced safe climber, trying to improve grades / technique / headspace and break out of self-limitation of about gr20. Been climbing on and off for 30 years, never been too flash, but have climbed in a lot of places and still think my best climbs are in my future :-) You – any grade climber who wants to climb regularly and can clear a regular evening a week to work on your goals. I need to have confidence in my partner re safety & belaying so that I can push myself – and I will offer you a solid belay and encouragement in doing whatever you want to do. We can structure our evening around both of our training goals – and if those are similar, we might enjoy climbing outdoors together as well.
