Hi all
I'll be on a bike trip through the Elbesandstein in June and will have a day for climbing around Bad Schandau. Any advice on finding some companions? (maybe guides?)
I was there briefly in 2012 and I've read about the weird local ways of arranging gear. I'd love to experience the place with some locals. I speak a bit of German.
thanks!
John

Hay John,
Send me an email at col6787@yahoo.com and I can get you in touch with some local climbers. Or you could try berg sport Arnold in bad schandau if you are after a guide.
Regards
Col

Hi John,
I live in Berlin, but I also climb in Elbsandstein a lot. I am also a bike traveller.
Last winter I spent cycling and climbing in Australia (Araps, BMs. Grampians).
I do lead this special trad up to Grade 21, but also enjoy easier stuff.
If I you like we can catch up for climbing in Elbsandstein, but I need to know some days (better more than a week) in advance, so I can take a day off.
Cheers, Gerald
