Yeah well there's toughing out suffering when you have the experience to make the call, and then there's descending into the Gorge for the first time when its 5 degrees and raining, with zero big wall bivouac experience, and a partner who was planning to sleep in a hammock and doesn't own a proper shell. Plans should change with the weather.

If we have to get rescued while hypothermic or bail in a cluster we'd be rightly slagged off here as underprepared morons...lose lose. Shouldn't have posted anything.
