I will be at Arapiles from Sept 21st to Oct 1. Looking for partners for those days. I'm a Kiwi mountaineer with lots of multi-pitch rock climbing experience. But not very fit. Aiming for lots of multi-pitch routes and easier single pitch stuff (15 to 17 to start with). I leave NZ on the 20th so email me before then. Planning to camp in the Gums if you look for me there.

i'm heading down with a group from UNSW, you should be able to hook up with some of us if you're looking for climbing partners. we'll be there 26th-3rd. i guess just put a sign up on the noticeboard or something.

i'm was planning to be there next week, but partner and lift has just pulled out. are you planning to leave from melbourne? room for a small one?

Yes, will arrive in Melbourne on Monday afternoon (20th), but planning to take train and bus to Horsham, which will have to be Tuesday a.m. I'd be keen to share costs on transport.

train bus deal sounds like a nightmare. unfortunatly i'm poor student without car, however its possible another mate of mine might drive up for a day or two (maybe monday after work). i'm trying to convince him to take a sicky. will post tomorrow if i have any luck.

Hope your friend is keen. I arrive Melbourne airport, Monday 5.30pm, maybe out the door 30 mins later. If you do arrange this, I'll put in generously for the gas!

doubt we'll be able to help out with lifts to the pines but if you're around next week we should be able to help out getting back & forth from nati or hortown. anyway maybe see you there :)
