Hi All,

I'm travelling down to Melbourne to run in the marathon on the 10 Oct and I'm wanting to do some climbing at Araps before or after the event. Before might work best. Its been a few years since I've visited the holy land and I need to renew my faith. The new Araps guide has been sitting on my shelf for too many years.

I'm looking at climbing the grades from 8-15, and exploring as much as I can in my 2 and a half days there. I would be happy to do easier or harder stuff but wouldn't be leading any harder then 19 as thats my onsight grade at Araps. I could second up to about 21 and maybe harder if I pull on some gear. I'm also a qualified multi-pitch guide.

I won't have a car or my rack with me so I would be great if you have those. I'm trying to avoid bringing my rack as ropes and cams don't go too well with on board luggage. If necessary I will goes halves in a rental car.

My plane would get in at Tullamarine at 11:15am on Wednesday the 6 Oct and I would be keen to head out any time that day. This would leave all day Thursday, Friday and Saturday morning for climbing. I would need to be back in Melbourne by around 5pm to get my beauty sleep for my jog the next day. I would be happy to make my own way back on the Saturday if you wanted to hang around at Araps.

If these dates don't work for anyone then I would be keen for a 11-13 Oct Monday-Wednesday mission.

Cheers,

Trent
