Went Climbing at Mount Bogong weekend before last. Here is my mates trip report.

The rest of the site isn't finished yet, so don't complain if something else dosent work/don't try and join!

Maybe Neil can confirm if he has climbed the routes we did from the pics? They seem to be in the are before dripping groove as you come up the hill.

Cool story, great pics. Doesn't inspire me to do mixed climbing at all though! Looked more like Scotland than Australia...

Awesome guys! Looks like some good nippy conditions. I honestly have no idea where you are, and not much memory of the routes I did 10 years ago. We used to camp literally above the cliffs (and one weekend below them in the gully on a ledge we cut out). Fun times. I miss having snow near home - I think i have been to the snow once in the last 4 years now I live in Sydney. But you guys proved I'm a slacker these days!

Fun! When I was in the US I was very keen to ice climb and met all sorts of Grizzly Adams types who assured me you could do it entirely on gardening gear bought in Walmaert.
Then I hit the first cold morning when I had to scrape ice off the car windscreen I thought 'No Way'
