Thanks guys. Estey - yes. If you come across the creek crossing and turn left towards the smaller campsite and the industrial ruins, about 100m down the road on the right is a small rock cairn and a piece of white & red tape in a tree, marking the start of the walk. The path is then easy to follow, with lots of white paint spots, arrows and bits of tape in trees. It is steep and at the top has a couple of bits near big drop offs, but we made it up in an hour with kids down to 6 years old, no issues (the little one was very tired by the time we got down though). Great views and probably the best way to get non-climbers to the top. |
