Hey Mike, Dominik and I had a go at Little Jug of Happiness this arvo. He raved about the second pitch all the way back to Sydney. In fact, according to him, this is one of the best pitches he's ever done at the grade. I never heard him say that before. He really had a ball on it!

As for me, I seconded it and – as I was exiting the steep part of the initial corner system – a foothold broke just after unclipping. I took a massive swing (almost touched the Three Sisters) which left me hanging 20-30 meters above the ledge below me, 8 meters from the wall and 4 or 5 meters below a rocky outcrop. I had to prusik back up to the route. Hard work.

I can tell you I was glad we used double ropes on this one.

Anyhow, many thanks for putting that route up, we had a fantastic day.
