Lord Gumtree has only been freed twice as far as I know. Steve Monks freed each pitch but never did the entire line in one , back in the early 90's. He'd already freed the lower common pitches with Ozy, so freed the remaining stand-alone pitches. Lee Cossey went ground-up on the route in February last year, in a day, having been on the bottom crux pitch that is shared with Ozy. A mighty effort, he'd been skulking round the campground sick as a dog with the flu for a week till the last day of his trip. He either onsighted or quickly redpointed all the pitches and was finished by mid-afternoon.
Ben Cossey, on the same trip, did a stonking one day ascent of Ozy Direct, but has not tried Lord Gumtree as yet. He is single still too ladies...
