Quickest way from Burnley wall to Mountain View is:

Up Mary St to Swan.
At this point imagine a rectangle and you're at the bottom right hand corner of it. The Mountain View is at the top left corner. Swan makes the bottom edge, Bridge makes the top. The verticles are Mary St (right edge) and Lennox (left edge). You either want to head noth up Mary then west on Bridge, OR west on Swan then north up Lennox. Or you could take any of the north-south running streets in between these.

Either way you skin it, the rising sun is NOT in this path. It is due east of the bottom right hand corner of the rectangle.
