Although the inheritant flaw in an otherwise eloquent simile would appear to be the reference to a certain nonexistent 80’s TV that begs a response of “Turn It Up, Gov’ner”. (Sorry, something on an inside joke there).

Last Sunday we (5 of us), did the classics of Melville’s Caves where-in Benny forged a new route (we hope) at Fire & Steel blocks which he’s decided to label "Charlie The Wonder Dog” (13), and the gang generally stripped the flesh from their hands as quickly as Kent evades steering motored transportation. Cracks of various grades (16 to 21) were valiantly jammed or lay backed, as whim or skill dictated, including a personal first, namely a jams only ascent of Strawberry Jam (16) aided by the extraordinary powers of the crack gloves. Polish Pride (21) offered much entertainment as usual, evicting more loose language than a sport climber’s wires on a bad trad day, and sometimes leaving punters pumped short of the finish. Needless to say a great day was had by all.
