Yeah, yeah, HEAT - SUMMER - HOT!
We have been living in Darwin through two wet seasons and even climbed through two wet seasons so the SA summer doesn't really scare us - try climbing in the scorching sun with 99% humidity...do you think your chalk works then?? I realise that it is hot and there's not much shade (did we mention that A LOT of planning and hard work has gone into this) but this doesn't really bother us much. We are used to the whole climb early, rest, climb late thing so that's our plan for the Moonarie Summer (somehow, Tasmania is not really on the way from Western Australia to Victoria so that doesn't seem like a wise option, eh??)
As for the wine... who said storage? I meant drinking!
Thanks for the advice but after a North Australian Summer, the dry heat of down south is far more bearable and we have done a far bit of southern climbing in the extreme heat and it can't be any worse than the Apostles up here... no shade, no solice, no water (no brain, no brain, no brain)
